Life Coaching sessions may take place in the client's home, in my counselling room or at a mutually convenient location. I also offer additional support by telephone where this has been agreed. I am happy to work with clients from anywhere in the country but we must be able to meet face to face at occasionally.
Life coaching is about looking forward from the here and now and helping you to achieve specific goals. Some life coaches talk about 'dream fulfilment' but I prefer to think of it as helping the client to recognise and utilise their potential. Of course, once that happens who knows where it will lead?
In life coaching the focus is what YOU want to achieve. I will support you in doing that and help you process learning from your experiences along the way. Some goals might be achieved in the short-term and some in stages.
Coaching can be directive and instructional but it is still about empowering you. I can't achieve anything for you, only you can do that.
All work is subject to an agreed contract, covering the scope of the work, the level of support in terms of meetings and telephone contacts as appropriate and the fees involved. We will also agree objectives that you want to achieve.
Confidentiality will be observed at all times but if your life involves a partner, family, employer etc. who you feel is an integral part of the process they can be involved where you feel it necessary.
